Directed Study

I created a directed study as a way to practice applying everything I have learned in college to real world scenarios. Mimicking a marketing agency, I was assigned, or “given”, an inquiry from my professor for a random company that was in need of a marketing or PR campaign strategy. Having less than 3 weeks to execute a completed and detailed deck for companies in various industries, I put my skills to the test. From consumer and industry research, creative design, influencer marketing and social media, to PR, I was able to experiment with taking risks and trying something new. When each project was complete, I then pitched each deck to a panel of four professors, AKA the company stakeholders, for full critique and analysis. See the work I did below for JCREW, Saie Beauty, Campari, and Rare Beauty!

My background in theatre has taught me the importance of thoughtful and immersive experiences. I have a very unique approach to styling: planning every detail to a T and ensuring every photo captures the essence and movement of the story being told.

I styled several cocktail photoshoots to create meaningful and creative content for Howdy’s personalized cocktail experiences. From prop sourcing, vision and inspiration boards, to on-set styling and capturing, I discovered my passion for design and found joy in making each photoshoot something special.

Make it stand out.

One of my greatest and proudest accomplishments at Howdy was our International Women’s Day Celebration event. I secured eight diverse women entrepreneurs to partner with us, highlighting their products and company names in our experience kits. We had more than 500 attendees with Senior, VP, and C level titles from more than 70 Fortune 500 companies attending the event, joined by keynote speaker, the legendary and award-winning actor, Viola Davis.
